Bra Underwires – Profile 3 | Full Cover

Bra underwires are suitable for the production of Full Cover bras, supportive bras, plus-size lingerie, minimizer styles, and sewn cups with underwire. This shape works well for designs where reliable support, a comfortable cup fit, and stable shape during everyday wear are important.

The shape has a high center, high side, wide fit, and medium coverage. The high center helps hold the cups better at the front, while the high side gives extra support from the side and helps keep the bust inside the cup.

The wide fit is suitable for designs that need more space at the base of the cup and a more comfortable distribution of pressure. Medium coverage gives a good balance between support, shape, and comfort: the underwire holds the cup securely, but does not make the bra feel too closed.

The underwires are made from Bekaert wire. Bekaert is a Belgian manufacturer of steel wire and protective coatings, whose materials are used in industries where consistent quality, precise shape, and material reliability are important.

The wire has double corrosion protection: galvanizing and PET plastic coating. This creates a smooth surface, reduces friction against the fabric, and helps keep the finished garment looking neat.

The ends of the underwires are covered with protective drop-shaped tips. They help protect the fabric from damage and reduce the risk of the underwire piercing the channel during wear or after washing.

Two wire options are available for order: flat and oval. Flat wire is suitable for most standard lingerie styles. Oval wire is chosen when a softer and more comfortable underwire is needed, especially for plus-size lingerie.
